Think Orwell’s ‘Animal Farm’ and recognise the pigs”.\n\nThe US wants very much to for us to follow them down that path. Clive Palmer has named his party after the rapist president and Dutton’s first overseas visit\, if he wins\, will be to kiss the ring of the rapist in the White House!\n\nSo a group of concerned citizens have gotten together to fight the scourge coming our way at the hands of Trump and Musk. We asked Artists for their support and have been amazed at the enthusiastic response.\n\nThese wonderful performers are generously donating their time to our cause (the defense of our fragile democracy) and we hope that you can come and support them and our cause too. All profits from the event will be donated to local charities Welcome to Maleny Refugee Group and The Maleny Neighbourhood Centre.\n\nThe Spirits\,   Linsey Pollak\,\nThe Charles Camillieri Connection\,\nNoel Gardner and the Party Faithful\,\nYoav & Friends\, Murray Wall & Natalie Richy\,\nRubatuba\, & the Daybreakers. Ian Mackay will be your MC.\n\nLet’s celebrate together and raise our voices is support of Australia’s Democracy.\n\n\nEvent description\n\nIn an effort to counteract the ‘dismantle democracy’ message coming from the US\, we’re running a music\, spoken word and dance event at Crystal Waters soon called ‘Sounds of Hope: Artists for Australian Democracy’. \nConfirmed acts include The Spirits\, Linsey Pollak\, The Charles Camillieri Connection\, Noel Gardner and the Party Faithful\, Yoav and Friends\, Murray Wall and Natalie Richy\, Rubatuba\, and Daybreakers. Ian Mackay will be your MC. \nWe are planning for an afternoon and evening of wonderful good-vibe music\, food\, bar and fires with a festival atmosphere. Yet with a clear message: to celebrate this country and her continuing commitment to defending our democracy and our precious sovereignty. \nThese fantastic performers are donating their time for our cause.
