The next Permaculture Course at Crystal Waters, Queensland!
We are pleased to announce plans to present our upcoming Course – Autumn 2025 Permaculture PDC.
Crystal Waters Eco Village near Maleny / Conondale has established its reputation as a centre for Permaculture here in Queensland with its history going back over 37 years.
The Autumn 2025 Permaculture Course presented at Crystal Waters includes several Presenters with decades of experience in Permaculture, Sustainable Agriculture, Soils & Seeds, Organics and Design principles. The Presenters for this PDC Course include Robin Clayfield, Annaliese Hordern, Max Lindegger & several other experienced Permaculturists as special guest presenters.
Permaculture is a design system that attempts to emulate nature in the design and experience that we have within our living environments. Encompassing a wide range of topics on ecological living, from energy efficiency to sustainable and organic agriculture, examining our relationship with water, sun, food and soil – to living in harmony with our environment.
If you are looking for a sustainable healthy living lifestyle in these challenging times, the Crystal Waters Permaculture Design Course experience will help you on the path. This Permaculture Course is supported by the Crystal Waters Community cooperative to assist people to transition to integrating ecological, environmentally responsible and healthy living in our lives and greater harmony with the environment.
This 2-week Intensive is unique being in the long established Permaculture Village here in Queensland.
The Permaculture Course: A comprehensive blend of theory, practical hands-on sessions, design exercises, field trips and site visits highlighting creative and inclusive learning methods as well as some conventional styles.
Covering most Permaculture topics and also expanding the cutting edge of Permaculture to include Social Permaculture, Deep Ecology and a people-centred approach.
Program Team: Includes renowned Presenters with decades of experience in Permaculture, Regenerative Agriculture, Soils, Seeds, Organics, Sustainability and Design Principles. The Presenters for this PDC Course include Robin Clayfield, Annaliese Hordern, Max Lindegger with others as special guest presenters.
Venue: Crystal Waters was designed along Permaculture Principles in the mid-80s. It’s home to 250 residents of all ages on 640 acres of regenerating bushland at the headwaters of the Mary River. The central Village Green is a place for regular social interaction with events and monthly markets.
The Ecopark accommodations area provides a restful place for visitors to stay during events and Permaculture courses.
