Within a 30 minute drive from Crystal Waters you can visit the towns of Maleny and Kenilworth, take in the breathtaking sight of the Glasshouse Mountains from Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, and arrive ready to take on some of the Great Walks throughout the Conondale and Blackall Ranges.

Crystal Waters is at the Gateway to the Mary Valley, which is home to many attractions including the rural and unique township of Kenilworth with its wineries, art galleries, cafes & festivals. In the valley, you can also find The Mary Rattler, the Gympie Music Muster at Kandanga & much more.

Just up the hill, the Blackall Range Scenic Drive winds through the towns of Mapleton, Montville and Maleny and includes stunning views of the Sunshine Coast and Baroon Pocket Dam. Maleny has a wide array of things to do throughout the day and most nights with great live music, galleries and restaurants.

 A little further afield, but still an easy day trip, the picturesque Sunshine Coast is just over an hour away, and is home to popular surf beaches, shopping hubs and night-spots.

Other regular markets in the area include the Montville Produce Market on the 2nd Saturday of the month and the Blackall Range Growers Market at Witta on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
